Building connections across borders is not only about new infrastructure and services along main routes. Is about creating a network able to provide the same accessibility and mobility opportunities in neighbouring regions, targeting both functional urban areas and urban-rural systems.
SUNFLOWER4CE will deliver an innovative and collaborative mobility planning approach dedicated to cross border functional areas, focused on integrating regional networks, demand responsive (DRT) and traditional public transport services, to create balanced and cohesive accessibility systems providing all citizens with sustainable mobility opportunities.
Dyvolve Ltd. is a project partner, working on upstream activities (Output 1 and Output 2) capitalising on deliverables from DREAM_PACE, SUSTANCE, and FORTIS (PP 2014 – 2020), and facilitating the collaboration with Zagreb County, Municipality of Brežice, and DUJPP in order to upscale the overall results and provide a foundation for the cross-border CRO-SLO collaboration on improving public transport and its integration with demand responsive mobility.
Dyvolve will also engage with the City of Velika Gorica in planning DRT services (design, service options modelling, booking&use analysis, governance modelling, etc.) as part of the local and cross-border mobility networks being part of the downstream activities (Mobility planning and governance model for DRT integration in public transport in peripheral, low demand areas, and rural territories) capitalising on deliverables from DREAM_PACE and EU-MOVE.
